What is the XAS Program?
• The XAS program is our league program offered to both cheerleaders and football athletes to encourage Athleticism to it’s highest extent. XAS will recognize A/B student athletes who work diligently at maintaing their GPA for the duration of the Cheer and Football Season.
The XAS Objective
• The objective of the XAS Program is to prepare student athlete’s mindset that Athletics and Education work hand in hand. Through special recognition and weekly incentives XAS intend to motivate student athletes to be achievers on the field, and most importatly in the classroom.
Who Is elegible to participate in the XAS Scholars Program?
• This program is not exclusive to anyone. Any student-athlete with the desire to succeed is welcome in program.
How does this program work?
• The Director of each associtaion will be responsible for tracking the student-athletes progress reports that are provided from that student’s school. The progress will be tracked beginning the first day of school through the first of November. The scholars will be recognized and awarded at the GXYFL Annual Cheer Competition .
• The scholars will also be recognized on the league website.
What Criteria do Students need to meet to be a part of the XAS Program?
• Student athletes must be registered football and cheerleaders for GXYFL Associations. While there is no scholastic requirements to enroll, students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
