MISS GXYFL 2010 BIO
Queen RickaylaIt is her persistent and consistent determination, dependability and dedication to cheering that led to her being crowned Miss. Georgia Xtreme, 2010-2011.Rickayla is the amazing daughter of Rickie and Lometa Mitchell and the protected sibling of DeMarcus and Keyanna. Our Queen, Rickayla Mitchell is an active, purposeful, and smart young lady. As evidenced by her grades and commitment to academics, she continues to boast honor roll grades; she is active in school events and activities. Rickayla is a member of the AVID program, the HONORS program and the program challenge classes at Conyers Middle School. She is well regarded by both her peers and her instructors. Rickayla is well connected to her spirituality and began her praise ministry in form of dance at the age of five years old. In addition to dance, Rickayla actively participates in cheering. She enjoys listening to music, playing sports, and serving her community. Being an astute financial consummate, Rickayla works part time as an event planning assistant where she assists the CEO of Extraordinary Events of Excellence with delightful parties for kids and teens. Rickayla's dance ministry and event planning has allowed her to perform for a variety of churches, retirement homes, weddings, and galas. Rickayla started cheering at the age of five for New Birth Eagles and later for Rockdale County parks and recreation. She was selected as a Style Stepper at Barkdales Boys and Girls Club and was recruited as a basketball player for CMS during her sixth grade year. Presently, Rickayla serves as the Captain of the cheerleading squad at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and is team manager for the basketball team at her school. Rickayla is indeed a student of success.
